Student Responsibilities
As our pupils develop more skills, we encourage them to take on roles within the academy which give them an increased level of responsibility and helps to benefit other pupils within the academy.
We are always looking at opportunities for our pupils to lead within the academy; however, here is an overview of the roles that our pupils currently have.
| Role | Responsibilities |

| Pupil Leadership Team | Our Pupil leaders are elected by students and there is a Headteacher and either 2 or three Assistant Headteachers. They work alongside school leaders in decision making and represent the school at events. |
| School Councillors | There is one School Councillor per class and they are elected by students. They feedback pupil voice to the student leaders and support in making decisions. |
| School Ambassadors | There is one School Ambassador per class, these are students that are chosen to receive the Student of the Year award by their teacher for outstanding behaviour throughout the year. These students attend parents evenings and other events to represent the school. |
| Librarians | School librarians are responsible for the general running of the library and to act as reading ambassadors around school. They recommend books and can place order requests for any books not available. |
| School Shop Attendants | The School Shop Attendants are responsible for managing stock alongside staff, they also deliver online orders and help customers in the shop. |
